The service updates daily, so a change made today may not appear at once. An online or motor-vehicle submission can take up to three weeks to post. If there is no match, retry with the full first name used at registration, a former ZIP after moving, or a former name after a name change. Then contact the county board rather than guessing.

Maryland keeps key fields confidential. Social Security and driver's-license numbers, full birth dates, signatures, ballot choices, protected contact information, and Address Confidentiality Program residence addresses are withheld under Election Law §3-506 and related protections.
Active and inactive are administrative categories. Neither supplies grounds for a personal conclusion about a Bowie resident. Ask the county board to correct or explain an unexpected status.

Most output is tab-delimited text, and some files exceed spreadsheet row limits. The agency does not provide custom conversion or technical support.
Note: Applications received after the advanced-registration deadline, explained publicly as 21 days before an election, are returned rather than held.
2026 Bowie Voter Data Costs
The form revised June 30, 2026 changed an easy-to-miss detail. It no longer displays the older general $3 setup fee. FTP delivery is free, and the only delivery add-on shown is $15 for a flash drive. Core prices remain $125 for statewide data and $75 for a single county, Baltimore City, or district report.
A requester who needs only Prince George's County, including Bowie voter records, should not select the statewide product by habit. The posted form should still be checked at filing because election data products and fees can change.
Protecting Bowie Voter Registration Details
Maryland offers a voter confidentiality request for people who document qualifying safety risks or roles. Grounds include violence, trafficking, sexual assault, stalking, harassment, a personal-safety threat, being a felony victim or witness, law enforcement, the judiciary, and some immediate family ties. The form asks for name, birth month and day, category, facts, signature, date, and proof tied to the category.
Approved protection covers residence address, email, and phone in voter, candidacy, and campaign records. Address Confidentiality Program participants also have residence addresses suppressed from voter-list disclosure. A protected voter may be unable to confirm registration online and may not get an automatic sample ballot or mail-in application before an election.

The state desk handles voter-file applications and formats. The county desk handles local registration. No verified official series for historical Bowie poll books or city-level registration statistics was located, so current officials should be asked before relying on an unofficial archive claim.
