1. Nature of the Service
Bowie People Search is an independently operated reference resource. It describes and links to public records, court indexes, directories, and official lookup portals serving Bowie, Prince George's County, and Maryland. The service neither hosts government records nor represents any agency, court, or custodian.
2. Acceptable Use Rules
You must use Bowie People Search only for lawful purposes. Neither the site nor information reached through it may be used to:

To the fullest extent the law permits, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages tied to use of Bowie People Search or an external resource, including reliance on a located record.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the site's operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, caused by your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Copyright and Ownership

That statute governs public custodians, not Bowie People Search as a private reference service.
12. Severability
